The leadership team behind Surge Ministries has deep roots in community transformation. These men were once part of the highly successful Desire Street Ministries, which revitalized the Desire neighborhood in New Orleans’ Upper Ninth Ward. Having witnessed and contributed to that remarkable success, they have now united to bring the same proven blueprint to the New Orleans East neighborhood.

With a strong commitment to faith and community, we provide a safe haven for at-risk youth, equip individuals with valuable trade skills, and nurture the entrepreneurial spirit within our communities. Our comprehensive approach includes educational programs, mentorship, vocational training, and community outreach, all designed to create lasting, positive change.
